create implication fedora_(linux) -> linux
create implication gentoo -> linux
create implication kubuntu -> linux
create implication kali_linux -> linux
create implication lindows -> linux
create implication manjaro_linux -> linux
create implication red_hat_(linux) -> linux
create implication slackware -> linux
create implication ubuntu -> linux
create implication void_linux -> linux

It'd be convenient if Linux distributions automatically implied the Linux tag. Most images featuring Linux in any way beyond Tux or an OS tan will do so through a distro, but occasionally people forget to tag it alongside the distro, so you end up with incomplete search results. It'd also just look nicer on the sidebar.
I'm not including it in this bulk update request, but perhaps Kubuntu could imply Ubuntu instead of just Linux, as it is an official derivative of the latter which uses the same repositories. This could be taken too far if unofficial derivatives or forks are included as implications, as someone searching for Debian probably isn't also looking for Kali Linux images on the side. I'll leave that one up to you guys.
The other consideration is that Debian, Gentoo, and GNU Guix (not yet featured on Danbooru, unsurprisingly) do support GNU Hurd on the side. This doesn't affect any images here yet, and probably won't unless the Hurd breaks out of its pen (unlikely), but in that scenario you could just remove the Linux implication and carry on more or less without trouble.

The only BSD descendent on Danbooru is OpenBSD with three approved images, unfortunately. That isn't counting Apple's OSes, as basically every mainstream or proprietary OS nowadays uses a bit of BSD software somewhere.

Edit: I guess there's also the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 kernels. Making their tags imply BSD would be pretty funny, but good luck convincing the admins to let that one fly. It'd be like making Android (OS) imply Linux, or making most Linux distros also imply GNU (which, to be fair, GNU Guix could legitimately do).

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux,” and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.

Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
