It'd be convenient if Linux distributions automatically implied the Linux tag. Most images featuring Linux in any way beyond Tux or an OS tan will do so through a distro, but occasionally people forget to tag it alongside the distro, so you end up with incomplete search results. It'd also just look nicer on the sidebar.
I'm not including it in this bulk update request, but perhaps Kubuntu could imply Ubuntu instead of just Linux, as it is an official derivative of the latter which uses the same repositories. This could be taken too far if unofficial derivatives or forks are included as implications, as someone searching for Debian probably isn't also looking for Kali Linux images on the side. I'll leave that one up to you guys.
The other consideration is that Debian, Gentoo, and GNU Guix (not yet featured on Danbooru, unsurprisingly) do support GNU Hurd on the side. This doesn't affect any images here yet, and probably won't unless the Hurd breaks out of its pen (unlikely), but in that scenario you could just remove the Linux implication and carry on more or less without trouble.
