How do I tag this?

Posted under Tags

Just wondering if there is any suggestion about the character tag of two illustrations (post #11010853 post #11011777) I recently uploaded. First of all, the character is an indie utaite, choco (see the wiki page https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=choko). I used to tag the posts mentioned above with a deprecated character tag, choco, which was then changed to choco_(utaite) by another user. But now I just realised that they have become the only two posts with this tag, while the other 8 posts of her belong to another character tag, choko. Considering there are quite a number of "ちょこ" in concerning fields, including but not limited to illustrator, singer and virtual youtuber, I would prefer the quoted utaite in the tag as it really helps avoid confusion. Regarding this issue, should I propose an update to this tag or just stick to the current tag, choko?

In post #11050798 features a drawing of an official genderswapped model of the indie vtuber michi_mochievee. Should this be tagged genderswap_(ftm) or official_alternate_costume or both? Is there even something like "official alternate gender" for this instance?

I’ve seen chartags being made for certain genderswapped vtubers. See Sanya or Ouro Krono and other vtubers in his wiki. They’re usually tagged with genderswap tags, but most have no official alternate costume tag. Sanya is an exception since she has multiple outfits herself.

i can't figure out if post #11066192 should be pov, out of frame and/or solo focus as the wikis seem to imply that it's only for partial and that it should get tagged looking at viewer or such.

I would tag it solo + looking at viewer.

is there a more straight forword tag for characters that only exist via speech bubbles in the post?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I've never thought to tag those occurrences, but I see them occasionally.
