Furry and humanization covers the idea of drawing the "original" version of a character and a humanization of them, however I think the tag should be expanded because there are cases where the character being humanized wasn't originally furry. There are fringe cases post #813927 post #4575511 post #3182859 post #6133180 post #3099421 post #6458754 that currently cannot be placed in an *_and_humanization tag because the two options creature and personification and furry and humanization both exclude them.

Instead of creating smaller splinter tags (what would you even call the Gardevoir one?) I'm proposing we expand furry and humanization to character_and_humanization. This would be more inclusive and then could be used in tandem with searches like mecha, pokemon (creature), alien, and so on.

imo this isn't a good name for the tag... like Jingke is a wooden sword that has a human form so i tagged this post with object and personification

character and humanization sounds like it would also apply to the post above

i think you want humanoid and humanization since everything else is covered by the personification tags

I agree with trapster in so far that I don't think the name is good, but that's moreso because the format of person and animalization and person and furrification and person and alternate species makes me think that person and humanization would be the logical naming scheme here.

Those are the opposite of what this is, a character who was originally human being drawn with a non-human variation. I am open to naming suggestions, but I doubt most people would consider Mawile a "person."

What are we looking for here? Any version of a humanoid character being humanized further? Maybe this could work. As the others have mentioned, a living sword is also a character, so it would not fall under humanization, and the difference between personification and humanization is already hard to understand as it is - not even getting into the partial humanization part.

That is an accurate name, though I dislike how clunky it sounds. Basically we're looking for a tag that covers characters who aren't furry being drawn with a humanization. post #8653816 and post #3110690 are good examples and posts that currently can not be placed in a tag because our only tag for characters being drawn with a humanization is furry specific.

Do we need one at this point in time? partial_humanization reference_inset returns most of them and partial humanization is still a pretty small and niche tag compared to humanization itself.
