imo this turns a tag that is easy to define/maintain into something more subjective, so it would be easier to just remove the posts that don't have only chibis from the chibi only tag

you could probably tag size difference for posts a chibi is in the same physical space as a non-chibi? assuming it's not just a chibi inset. there is actually a few hundred posts in size_difference chibi already

chibi focus could be a separate tag, but I like chibi only as it is now.

I can see use cases for both existing separately. I know that I personally like to search up images with only chibis. So having the tag being changed into something more broad and subjective rubs me the wrong way.

I don't agree with this interpretation. I believe that non-chibi characters existing goes against the spirit of the chibi_only tag. It shows that it is not the case that the whole in-picture world is chibified, so it's closer to the other non-chibi-only chibi images, where the chibis are isolated joke existences.
