About possible amend and add new tag from gen:breasts

Posted under Tags

Recently I reviewed tag group:breasts tags, and I found there are some flawed descriptions as following:
In breasts:

grabbing own breast
breast hold—supporting one's own breasts with one's arms, not hands
breast lift—grabbing one's own breasts with one's hands

Here describes breast hold as using one's arms to hold own breasts. Though breast hold is deprecated and ambiguous, it redirects to arm under breasts, arms under breasts, breast lift, grabbing own breast and grabbing another's breast.
The key is, the later three tags are described as using one's hands, not arms, to hold own/others' breasts, which are not right related tags to clarify. I think it is necessary to amend the description of breast hold, or the description in breasts about breast hold etc. I am not sure if I could edit deprecated tags or not, so I think it is better to disscuss here.

Addtionally, another situation about breast hold is missing in my opinion. Please check post #10095471[Sensitive] as an example. The character using her forearms (or called "upper arms") to squeeze her breasts together.
It can be tagged as breasts squeezed together, which is also a little ambiguous tag in my opinion. But actually people are used to tagging breasts squeezed together with other tags "related" to breast hold, especially grabbing own breast and grabbing another's breast. It is hard to describe the "breasts squeezed together method" of #10095471[Sensitive], while other tags only emphasize "hands", not "forearms".
post #10095471[Sensitive] uses hands up to implicate the "breasts squeezed together method" we talk about. It's hard to associate hands up with breasts squeezed together, while grabbing own breast could be easy. Similar tag is w arms as post #6069757[Questionable].
This "breasts squeezed together method" is also common in paizuri posts (like post #9746284[Explicit]), though the number is indeed not large enough. I wonder if there is any possibility to create a new tag to describe this "breasts squeezed together method"? I think we could use "forearm_breast_hold", "forearm_breast_squeeze" or etc. as the name of the possible new tag.

Tag groups are a volunteer effort and aren't supported first class on the site, they're just named that way so they're easier to search with a consistent name formatting. This means that sometimes tag group pages aren't updated to reflect deprecations, alternatives or redefinitions. As they're mainly just large pages of links to tags, they don't tend to be prioritised for wiki maintenance.

Generally searching the forum for discussions about tags is the best way to follow what's going on with them now. "Discussions" and "What Links Here" on the sidebar will help you track some of that down.

Just to shed light on that at the very least.

Got it.

I just think we should try to define and describe tags more correct in wiki pages to make it easy and clear for tag contributors' refering. Admittedly, considering the situation of Danbooru's volunteers, the current situation is indeed understandable.

And "forearm_breast_hold" I mentioned is indeed an exsiting worthy content (at least my opinion) in various posts but with few people's concern. I wonder opinions on these similar situations to see if any possibilities to create new tags or do something else.
