How do I tag this?

I'm confused, I thought the post with the highest size is suppose to be the parent post, at least, that's what I've read from the wiki, but then someone changed it to child instead and tagged duplicate on it even though it's higher sized. I removed it but then I put it back because I'm not so sure if I'm wrong here. Is the duplicate tag correct? Or should I undo the changes?

PS: I went ahead and changed it back since from my own experience, I've seen two posts with the same picture but one of them became the parent post even though it was only slighty higher size before: post #10348016 (nsfw).

PPS: Aaand it was immediately reverted back to be the child again. Can anyone explain to me why? I don't think it should be the child post according to the wiki, but I also don't want to get into a tagging war.

@Myth-of-Stars ping since it's been a bit since your question. Highest size refers to higher resolution, not larger file size. In this case, your post does have a bigger file size, but that's just the difference in how the websites compress images and videos. They have the same resolution and they're the same file format, so your post is a duplicate. If the resolution was higher, then it wouldn't be a duplicate.

I see, thank you for your response. I actually did my own research afterwords and found other posts that were duplicate despite having a larger filesize either due to jpeg artifacts or some other criteria. I also did a side-by-side comparison of the twitter version and the bsky version of the two posts and found that the bsky has more artifacts than the twitter version. I'm so used to getting one-up'd by bsky posts that have the same resolution as twitter posts that I thought it was because of the file size. I see where I went wrong now.

I could have sworn I read on one of the two_many wikis that 5 or more was the qualification for the tag, but I can’t find it now. Edit, it’s the wiki for too many rabbits. There’s also flock to consider for birds.

Interesting, but then if you go on too many butterflies it becomes "too many [...] to reasonably count" and I can pretty reasonably count to 9 (it gets a little tough when I start running out of fingers, but I persevere).
Other too_many tags have stuff like "any sizable collection" or "a really huge number". It's a bit all over the place.
6+ could be consistent IMO, because then at least it's in line with 6+girls and 6+boys.
I think that particular image is also flock. I wonder as well if flock should imply too_many_birds (though definitely not the other way round).
