Resplendent costumes are for the most part slight redesigns of the costumes they're based on, so the way the implications are currently set up makes sense to me. This is also how people were already tagging these costumes before they got implications. I don't see why this is necessary.
This is Celica (Warrior Princess) (Resplendent) (Fire Emblem) and Celica (Warrior Princess) (Fire Emblem) for example.
Ike is the only one I would call a slight redesign. The rest have clear and major differences. This is comparable to Fate ascensions or shipgirls with multiple remodels. In those cases we don't group designs together unless the differences are truly trivial.

This is incorrect. This is a tag specifically for the older version. It's the same issue we had with Saber Lancer - if someone wants to see all posts of the older Edelgard they shouldn't have to search for 4+ tags at the same time.

This argument can be applied to all characters that have different forms, and yet we distinguish between Medea Lily (Fate) and Medea (Fate), or Kama (Young) (Fate) vs Kama (Teenager) (Fate), or Tiki (Young) (Fire Emblem) vs Tiki (Adult) (Fire Emblem). This would be a case of self cosplay.
