I think it's about time we actually did something with these. I cannot actually think of a good tag name that maintains the *_with_* formatting, so I'm instead stealing a page from topic #32439, less because I think these are good names and moreso to force the conversation. If "d" is for dickgirl, "nd" is for no pussy dickgirl.

create implication futa_with_newhalf -> mixed_futas

Back when I made that original BUR to try and bait proposals to rename the remaining newhalf tags (which failed), nonamethanks had requested I also make a BUR for what he had mentioned in forum #308313: "Make mixed_futas so we can also tag things like intravaginal futas with normal futas". I wanted to wait and see if we could get the newhalf tags renamed first, but that failed, so we should deal with that then.

i have a question that probably fits this thread...

in post #10362453 a boy is turned into a newhalf. he's next to a futanari. outstanding questions and my opinions

1. is this 1girl 1boy, 2girls 1boy, or 2girls? imo it's 1girl 1boy since that's how it starts
2. if a boy becomes a futa without pussy, does that count as genderswap_(mtf)? personally i believe it counts because i like traps and traps are male, but i'm not into futas therefore futas must be female. tbh i don't know what is the correct tag for "gender change"/女体化 in this case on danbooru since lots of times it happens out of pure magic, so gender transitioning might not be correct, but regardless i don't like when it happens :(

btw even after being turned into a newhalf the character is still labelled 男の娘/otoko no ko in japanese, but that word feels like it's used with the same ambiguity as "dickgirl" in english

also i'm going to add that personally speaking based on what i think when i think about these tags... male with breasts feels like a tag that should be used with feminized/high estrogen traps/hrt femboys, while futa without pussy is going to be curvier like a woman but with a penis instead of a pussy and manboobs is like the bara equivalent of male with breasts. so it's like a spectrum to me

more masculine <--- ---> more feminine

manboobs (1boy) <-> male with breasts (1boy) <-> futa without pussy (1girl)

mixed futas needs other posts first, otherwise it'll be a 100% overlap, and in that case it might as well be an alias. Make a favgroup or something.

Per what I mentioned in forum #306446, may as well propose this so that cuntboy can be the "cis male with pussy" tag in parallel to futa's "cis woman with penis" tag.

male futanari is the name of the fetish, it doesn't make sense to change it. It's also distinctly different from cuntboys, I don't think they should be in the same tag.

And I don't think they are distinctly different from cuntboys, post #10087621 and post #7094209 have the same appeal to those interested in "cis males with pussies". On five of demorzel's malefuta Trafalgar Law posts, @Zetsubousensei tagged cuntboy (with male) per yaoi's rules which exclude cuntboy. post #3687771 was tagged male futanari since its uploading in 2019 because the Pixiv source uses that tag, but looks indistinguishable from cuntboy. If the Japanese themselves see them as two sides of the same coin, just like they do with futanari and futa without pussy, then I don't see why we need to arbitrarily keep them seperated.

I strongly disagree with this alias. Yes, it was probably misused but newhalf (old word generally equivalent to transgender female) and futanari are *not the same thing.* Not outright and also not in the "vibes" of the character. Futanari characters are generally more masculine or assertive, newhalf/trans, more feminine, for obvious reasons.

One is magical, one is real-world.

Then you actually agree with the alias, as it was originally done, because newhalf as it was originally used on Danbooru did not refer to actual trans people, and was fundamentally just futanari characters without pussies. But what you want now is for the alias to be removed because time has passed and users at this point must've moved on.

Well, in a way, sure. If the automatic alias was removed, and I could use BOTH tags, that would be fine. "Futa" would be general, and "newhalf" would be for specific characters or situations. Everybody is happy, right?

In this case, "futa" has been changed to a catch-all term like e621's "gynomorph." I have some issues with that- but it's fine. Getting newhalf back, that's what I'd really like. And I would prefer "newhalf" above any replacements. It's far more neutral, and older than any alternatives.
