According to howto:copyright, trademarks that do not have character tags under them should not be categorized as Copyright. This has been the consensus as reflected by forum posts such as forum #78146, forum #164719, forum #328964, and BURs such as BUR #35186.
Hence, I'd like to propose that the following trademark tags be recategorized as General. Since I'm not certain about all of them, I won't submit a BUR just yet and hope to receive some opinions. Would also appreciate additions to the list.
Music, cameras, and electronics
- Canon_(Company), manufacturer of optical and imaging products such as cameras, scanners, and printers
- Casio, manufacturer of electronics such as watches, instruments, calculators, and medical devices
- Dolby, technology company specializing in audio and HDR display
- Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, guitar, amplifier, and effect pedal manufacturer
- Hasselblad, camera manufacturer
- Hewlett-Packard, manufacturers various IT infrastructure products including PC, workstations, servers, and printers
- JVC, consumer and professional electronics company; developer of the VHS
- Nippon Columbia, Japanese record label
- NVIDIA, unlike Intel with Intel (Intel-Senpai), or AMD with Amada Kokoro, NVIDIA does not have a character tag yet
- Panasonic Corporation, manufactures a wide range of products including consumer electronics and house appliances.
- National_(Panasonic), trademark owned by Panasonic Corporation
- Skullcandy, headphone and speaker manufacturer
- Yamaha, it developed Vocaloid but the latter does not imply it, so not sure if it should be a copyright
Aircrafts and airlines
These airlines have official collaborations with copyrights like Kantai Collection. They are also depicted in humanization projects like Flight Airplanes. Not sure if that justifies the copyright status.
