merge normal and implied gender_transitioning

create alias implied_gender_transitioning -> gender_transitioning

i do not believe having two tags for the same concept is necessary. most posts under implied gender transitioning are simply posts with mastectomy scars, and four are characters with breasts, penises and the transgender flag. there are plenty of those under gender transitioning as well

EDIT: between starting this topic and the time of the edit, posts that feature the transgender flag and nothing else to indicate transition, such as post #9032220, have been added to the tag. i believe this may require even further discussion

I think it makes more sense to separate explicit depictions of the process of gender transition from posts where a character is just vaguely implied to be transgender

Definitely not, people can have masectomies (and masectomy scars) without being trans. In the real life cisgender women get masectomies for breast cancer, for instance.

a mastectomy scar isn't always a sign of transitioning though. for example take the (very few, but they're there) posts under mastectomy_scar single_breast.

beyond that, i agree with pipirupirupirupipirupi about how these two tags should be used.

This tag is just a replacement for the old transgender tag, with the exact same problems. gender transitioning is already for posts about gender transitioning, we don't need two tags for the same thing, and this tag is just gender transitioning but worse.
Why would you add a cuntboy with mastectomy_scars into a tag called implied gender transitioning? What's implied about that??? And then you have characters just holding a transgender flag like post #7796616, or even worse, posts like post #6440105 where the trans flag is in a tiny spot and almost invisible. Imagine if we tagged all instances of male characters holding a rainbow flag with yaoi.

Just went through and removed the tag from posts that didn't reference the act of gender transition or picture the effects.

Wait, what? I mean, sure, more granularity is always welcome, but what prompted this? Hormones (which don't change the type of genitals) are also a form of medical transition, in fact they are responsible for more changes than surgeries, typically.
