I already opened this can of worm once so my mind is already telling me not to do it again, but people should really stop with the whole "pineanpple on pizza = spawn of Satan" bs. If you have tried it and arrived at the conclusion that it's not for you, that's fine and I respect your opinion.

It really depends on how the pineapple is handled, if it's dried properly and allowed to toast and develop a bark in the oven it takes amazing, if it's still soggy, it tastes like vomit and makes the pizza damp.
About the only thing I can say about pineapple is that it has no business with marinara sauce (for me, anyway). A California chain has a pizza with pineapple, chicken, and American bacon with BBQ sauce instead of marinara and it's damn good.
