And according to this article https://t.me/ggscg_tg/8937 the reference image is freely available online and was actually generated by AI.
Yet another Twitter bullshit case where a girl was bullied for made-up reasons. They saw a ruined post-Soviet building right away and immediately started imagining things, spreading hate and blaming Russia and Russians for everything, and slinging mud at them. Is drawing fictional things now considered terrorism?
I may add more details in the comments if necessary or if I forgot to mention something. If anything, I like both nations and I'm born as Ukrainian myself.
T/N: Marking "check translation", cause I don't know what to do with そんけ〜... in the bottom panel. I assume it's a more casual pronunciation of そんけい/尊敬/respect, but with just one word to go off, I can't tell if that's Alice saying "I'm impressed", or Marisa saying "Watch your tone".
Leaning towards Alice based on text placement, but the casual pronunciation seems a bit unlike her. This sorta tiny text is often used almost as a SFX, not something the character's actually saying out loud, so maybe that's a factor. Or maybe I'm just reading way too deep into one word that doesn't affect the joke either way.
When you're the second richest horse in history after Romantic Warrior, but still technically a horse with 1 win in JRA races, and only 7.2 million yen in JRA earnings...
Not that that's stopped the JRA from throwing a ceremony, as well as a limited time display for Ebayan's Breeders' Cup win.
I'd like to point out that Kingu's jockey is the youngest of the jockeys brought up here, who followed his father's footsteps as a jockey in part due to seeing his neighbor driving fancy cars... Here he is as a horse trainer with his ex-neighbor, who's still a jockey (and won 2 graded races this weekend!)
