shin megami tensei: strange journey
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (真・女神転生 ストレンジジャーニー, lit. "True Goddess Reincarnation: Strange Journey") is the fourth game in the Shin Megami Tensei series. It would later be remade as Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey.
In the story, a black hole suddenly appears in the South Pole, and is expanding rapidly. Concerned, the United Nations sends a team composed of soldiers and researchers from all over the world to explore and investigate the anomaly, dubbed "Schwarzwelt". However, upon arrival, the investigation team discovers that the area is inhabited by demons.
The player controls an unnamed American soldier (Japanese in the original version), and must then make choices that might affect the future of humanity.
