yukata
A light summer kimono, often worn to festivals and other special occasions. In other seasons, it is typically worn after a bath in an onsen.
A yukata can be distinguished from a kimono by having a simpler, more casual design, with a thinner obi and without multiple layers of fabric.
A yukata its te only type of kimono that can it be used on casual / normal days, although this practice is not common in Japan
