Female protagonist of the original trilogy of Star Wars sci-fi and fantasy series, and main protagonist of the Star Wars: Leia Princess of Alderaan book series.

She is a leading member of the Rebel Alliance and Luke Skywalker's younger twin sister. She catches the eye of Han Solo and an unlikely relationship blossoms between the two.

After the defeat of the Galactic Empire, she would become the wife of Han Solo, and the mother of Ben Solo, a.k.a. Kylo Ren.

She was played by the late American actress Carrie Fisher.
