He is the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia. Ben trained to become a Jedi under the tutelage of his uncle Luke Skywalker.

He was turned to the Dark Side of the Force by the evil Supreme Leader Snoke and became Kylo Ren. Ben killed other aspiring Jedi students and destroyed Luke's new Jedi Academy. After this, Luke went into a self-imposed exile out of pity for his loss.
