onion knight
Job class from Final Fantasy III, characterized by an onion-shaped helmet with large, wide plumes.
In-game, the is the weakest playable class until the highest experience levels, where it becomes the statistical best. In the Nintendo DS remake, it was made a secret, late-game class (Freelancer becoming default). This class has appeared in other Final Fantasy titles in recent years.
As a drawn character, one of two subjects is typical:
- The Onion Knight of Dissidia Final Fantasy, a boy with blonde hair and green eyes (similar to Ingus) in the trademark armor.
- The Onion Knight class from the PlayStation Portable version of Final Fantasy Tactics, available to either gender.
