matikanefukukitaru (umamusume)
Character from Umamusume.
The fortune-telling horse girl with a really long name (read as Machikane Fukukitaru), Matikanefukukitaru is obsessed with fortune and luck and collects a wild range of lucky charms. The other horse girls (and humans at times) often consult her with their luck as well. She often refers to a "Shiraoki-sama" as if they were a shinto deity (and indeed, a horse named Shiraoki is the real life horse's fifth generation mare line ancestor).
Her name, when read as a whole, roughly means "Good fortune comes to those who wait".
The real life horse's romanized name was originally intended to be "Machikane Fukukitaru", but it was shortened to "Matikanefukukitaru" (the Kunreishiki version) because the international rules for racehorse names specify a maximum of 18 characters when the name is written in Latin script. Here, Machikane/Matikane is a kanmei and many of the owner's horses have limit-filling names like these (See Matikanetannhauser as well).
