kin'iro ryotei (umamusume)
Anime-only Umamusume character. Background character with no voice lines.
Horse girl. Has long black hair done up in a crown braid and a low ponytail. Also has green eyes. Does not have ear ornaments, but often depicted with cowlicks or her crown braid being more prominent and weighted towards her right ear.
Not directly based on an actual racehorse (as there is no racehorse called "Kin'iro Ryotei"), but her list of achievements and her name are unambiguously references to Stay Gold. In particular, during Stay Gold's stay in Hong Kong, his name was translated into Chinese as “黄金旅程”. Translating 黄金旅程 into Japanese yields "Kin'iro Ryotei".
Despite being a background character, Kin'iro Ryotei has gained some popularity among fan artists, as her implied namesake is the father of the real-life Gold Ship and Orfevre (the racehorse). This had led to endless fodder for jokes depicting her together with Gold Ship, Orfevre (old design), and Mejiro McQueen.
