ear ornament
An accessory worn on the ear, usually an animal ear. Usually this is an ear bow, ear ribbon, or other similar ornament tied around the ear.
Ear ornaments are normally for animal ears, not human ears. This should not be used for earrings, earclips, ear piercings, or other jewelry or standard accessories worn on human ears.
Umamusume characters often feature these accessories as their "eardecs" feature prominently as part of their character designs. An ornament on the right ear indicates a character is based on a male horse, while an ornament on the left ear indicates a character is based on a female horse.
