Titular protagonist of Kamen Rider Zero-One, thirtieth show of the Kamen Rider series and very first of the Reiwa generation, with the accession of Emperor Naruhito at the start of May 2019.

Hiden Aruto is a high-school student and aspiring stage comedian who reluctantly takes up his recently-deceased grandfather's position as president of Hiden Intelligence, Japan's leading specialist in HumaGears, humanoid robots with advanced artificial intelligence, in order to be able to access the president-exclusive powers of Kamen Rider Zero-One and protect humanity from rogue HumaGears hijacked by a cyberterrorist organization, with the aid of a specialized military unit and their own Riders.

As Zero-One, Aruto uses keycard-like Progrise Keys to transform into different animal-themed forms, including his default grasshopper-themed Rising Hopper.
