hoshimachi suisei
A Virtual YouTuber that originally started as an indie, before joining hololive's music label INNK Music, she would later transfer to hololive proper and become part of hololive's "Generation 0".
Her appearance was designed by herself, as well as the outfits from her indie days, she got a new design by Teshima Nari after joining hololive, with her newer outfits being designed by Saekiyahiro. Her personal emoji is a comet (☄️), her namesake.

She has blue eyes with stars in them and blue medium hair with double-parted bangs hanging between her eyes, sidelocks and a side ponytail held with a blue ribbon.

History
Unlike many Hololive members, Suisei had a rough start. She debuted on 2018-03-22 as an independent VTuber to little fanfare. She then auditioned for hololive several times but failed. However, Yagoo personally scouted Suisei for INNK Music in 2019, noting her determination. Suisei was given special permission to retain her original VTuber avatar. On 2019-12-01, she transferred to hololive Generation "0"—a special generation comprising VTubers scouted outside of the normal recruitment process. Additionally, her avatar was updated to its current form.
On 2021-01-30, she held a mock debut stream in which she proclaimed herself a member of Generation 0 of "hololive Space" and showed two hastily‒scribbled mock avatars for the fake group: Sata An and Moku Seiko.
Suisei and producer Taku Inoue form the Midnight Grand Orchestra music duo.
On July 26, 2021, at the beginning of her singing endurance stream, Suisei reached 1,000,000 subscribers.
On January 20, 2023, Suisei became the first vtuber to perform on Sony's THE FIRST TAKE channel, when she sang an acoustic version of Stellar Stellar in one take.
