A manufacturer of motor vehicles based in the United States of America. It was founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903.
Ford is the parent company of Lincoln, and retains their trademarks for the now-defunct Mercury brand. They also previously owned several still-active foreign car brands, namely Volvo, Mazda, Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Land Rover.
