He is the commander of the Earth branch of the Special Police Dekaranger.

In Power Rangers S.P.D. his name would be rendered as Anubis "Doggie" Cruger, and receive a unique redesigned suit, giving him a wider and longer head, with reptilian-like scaled skin.
