call of duty: black ops

The seventh major installment of Call of Duty series, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, released worldwide in November 2010. The game's storyline takes place during the Cold War in the 1960s, covering events like the Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam War, and even the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It also has one flashback mission in 1945 that took place in the post-WWII Arctic Circle, featuring characters from the previous game.

The game introduced new gameplay features such as cinematic melee kill on single player campaign and CoD points (currency) on multiplayer.

The game is also infamous for anachronistic armament and their inappropriate placement (i.e. Soviet soldiers wielding Israeli IMI Galil and Steyr AUG which was introduced in 1977, etc.), as well as inaccurate depiction of uniforms worn by each faction.
