at-te walker

A fictional walker mecha from the Star Wars Science fiction series.

The Kuat Drive Yards All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, also known as the AT-TE Walker, was an assault mecha of the Galactic Republic's arsenal used by its Clone Army.

It is a six legged armored walking machine armed with several swivel laser guns and one powerful energy cannon at the top of its main fuselage. The Clone Trooper operator of this cannon remains relatively exposed to enemy fire during combat.

The AT-TE walker was used extensively by the Republic forces during the Clone Wars. It was the precursor of the far bigger and much more destructive AT-AT walker used by the Galactic Empire years later.
