Akane Taka (meaning "Madder-red hawk") is a type of "Disk Animals," a shikigami used by Kamen Rider Hibiki and others.
They normally appear as silver discs about the size of a CD, but when they receive special sound waves, they activate and transform into a crimson, hawk-like form.
In their disc form, they can be used as throwing weapons, similar to chakrams.
It is enhanced into the deep crimson Hagane Taka (meaning "Steel Hawk") when it receives sound waves emitted from Armed Saber.
