The Tank, Infantry, Mk IV (A22) "Churchill" was a British heavy infantry tank used in World War II, best known for its heavy armour, large longitudinal chassis with all-around tracks with multiple bogies, and its use as the basis of many specialist vehicles. It was one of the heaviest Allied tanks of the war.
Variants
Churchill AVRE Variant where the main gun was replaced with a 230mm spigot mortar, to be used by the Royal Engineers to clear obstacles.
Churchill Crocodile Variant where the hull-mounted machine gun was replaced with a flamethrower, it's fuel carried in a carriage towed behind the tank.
