    The story is originally "The Emperor's New Clothes." In the original, some tailors tricked a king to purchase a gown from fabric "visible only to honest/smart/worthy people." Convinced he is wearing something only a few can see, he parades around town naked.

    Replacing "Emperor" with "Empress," and you get a title lewd yuri parody... you can fill in the blanks from here.

    It might also be worth noting that in Japanese, the story is called "The Naked King". Or in this case, "The Naked Queen". Hence Sara's comment of how the target demographic changed just from adding a character.

    ...Come to think of it, I'm not even sure if this new story is supposed to follow the same plot as the old one...

    I switched up the English story (from http://deoxy.org/emperors.htm ), replacing the gender of the Emperor here. Unless the Japanese story is different, there was probably more than just one character changed (in both meanings of "character").

    Ah, got it now. BTW, it's better known as "Naked King" here in Russia as well.
