A hand fan folded from paper, commonly used as a foil in slapstick comedy. Weapon of choice of Chidori Kaname (Full Metal Panic!), Kagurazaka Asuna (Mahou Sensei Negima!) and Aizawa Sakuya (Hayate no Gotoku!).

Use paper fan for other types of paper fan. Not be confused with folding fan which has foldable wooden (or other material) frame.
