Was deleted after only 10 approvers reviewed it, currently appealed and only 9 reviewed it....
The quality is consistent with other approved works of the same artist, so..... any pointers?

I know this is probably going to get deleted, but why is this thread even here? i know im not entitled to anyone's time, i get that, but I've been asking for days about one picture and get no answer at all, while i see other people getting an answer sooner, is it really too much to ask just a sentence long feedback? the anatomy looks bad on this area, see, that's it.
if i hadn't got any other pictured approved before i will just think im not good enough and that's it, but i don't believe my miku picture is worst than any other pic i have posted before, and its not even a matter of pride, its just objectively not correct, my art is not that good, i get it, but that one is above the other ones by a lot...but whatever, this is just a rant...i will proceed to get ignored again

There's thousands of posts every day, it is simply not feasible to reply to them all, even if you take away the posts that bypass the queue. Many approvers just drop by here whenever they feel like (you caught me in such an instance). In practice, all that can be said about many posts here is "it's just a bit shit". That isn't really productive for any of the parties involved, and kind of a waste of time, so you won't always get an answer to every post.
Following on from above. I try pop in every so often to provide comments where I can whilst avoiding posts where my input would literally just be "it looks bad". Been pretty busy doing other things on the site lately so have put this thread off.
Not calling anyone out here specifically because this has been an issue for at least as long as I've used the thread back when I was blue, but it also gets a bit soul crushing having to see a wall of "post #XXXXXXXX" with very little effort put into explaining why someone thinks their post has been overlooked specifically or maybe even asking if it's because of XYZ themselves so that an approver has a baseline to work with. I'd be more willing to reply to that than the walls of posts and I'm sure other approvers feel the same.

Well, I put at least some effort into my message here, I tried to provide some statistics and a general overview and still didn't get any feedback regarding the approvability of the pictures I posted, so I don't really blame people who put minimal effort into their posts as you describe - why would you bother when you know the chances of getting a reply are slim regardless?
Let's look at another perspective, it's pretty "soul crushing" to try to contribute good pictures, they get deleted with the only information provided "not approved in 3 days" and occasionally "1 approver(s) believe it has unexplained undefined 'poor quality'", meanwhile stuff like post #8697541 is up and not deleted, not because of its merit, but because it was uploaded by someone in some sort of position of power.
For some reason I thought danbooru was better than that and was generally a group of people who care about archival, now my eyes are opened a bit and it looks to just be clique gatekeeping dynamics, like everywhere, like always. Now that's pretty soul crushing.
The quality is no different to other illustrations by this artist. Could you please reconsider it again ?

Hey, at least deleted posts are still archived. I understand the frustration but nothing is lost!

Nothing personal against any uploader. Rule 1 of this thread is feedback isn't guaranteed. As the site grows it's just harder to give feedback. Things will get missed and hopefully with appeals and this thread, less of the good posts get missed.

I think you are missing my point, i know its not possible to reply to everyone, i even said it on my first post, what im saying is that this is my fourth post(actually fifth with this one) asking for feedback for 1 picture, and ive seen people posting 5, 8 or even 10 pics and those do get resolve and they only need to ask once, and about my art just being "a bit shit" as you say, well, i posted a picture after the one im appealing and it got approved in a few hours, i just want to know whats wrong with it or what are the standards, if there are even any, or its just what the approver feels like

From personal experience, it's based on the approver interest; the more you upload, the more you get to recognize the different approvers and their preferences in art. For example, you'll see a different realm of approvers approving wholesome simplified flat shader chibi art of an obscure 70s manga series posted in some now-defunct forum 25 years ago vs. highly-deleted NSFW 3D animations with voice acting of a well-known IP like Genshin Impact or Hololive done by a current high-profile artist.
Another factor is what it looks like at first glance in a thumbnail because as mentioned by some approvers; you'd have to be patient and/or unlimited time to be shifting through thousands of posts until one catches your eyes.

i get the time part, seriously, i do, but the part that i dont agree with, or at least i find it a bit annoying is the lack of a standard, as you said, its basically what the approver feels at the moment, so if im not lucky i ll just get people that are not interested in what i do just cause, not a real reason, but i guess my mistake is to expect feedback here, even if its just something short, if you do it for several post its start to add up, again, my original post was mostly a rant, cause it was frustrating, im not expecting an actual solution
