BUR #60469 has been rejected.
mass update id:31511,1310704,1310706,667708,1504158,11488214 -> traffic_baton -traffic_controller
It appears that the tag is for someone directing traffic, but it gets mistagged for a traffic baton. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the tag as it also includes post #4776237 depicting someone "directing traffic" using a hand fan and whatever the man in post #8511083 is holding.
The bulk update request #60469 (forum #443027) has been rejected by @Fenton.
BUR #60473 is pending approval.
create alias traffic_officer -> traffic_police
I guess I rejected that BUR for now. I think traffic officer needs to be renamed at least.

I personally think the current name is too broad as it can refer to anyone who direct traffic, not just traffic police officers. I'll make an alternate BUR just in case.
After trying to sort these tags out, we basically have police traffic officers, road construction traffic controllers, and school crossing guards. These all have similar jobs but distinct uniforms.
A lot of things under traffic baton are untagged traffic controllers, which are distinguished by their Y-shaped high-visibility vest.

I think traffic controllers are also present at construction sites as well, not just road construction. In addition, some of them tend to be a security guard in uniform like post #31511. I think these security guards can also direct traffic in front of an industrial building when a truck is entering or leaving the premise.
