AI-generated art check thread

Posted under General

@NerveControl decided to reject the flag based on nothing but the post date (asset #47697990, asset #47697991) so here we go again:

Issues:

  • Asymmetrical hair intakes (this is something AI still struggles with, but you can see many contemporary examples at ai-generated hair_intakes order:id)
  • Hair ends are melting into eachother
  • The weird floating glasses melt into the hair
  • Shading of the hair blurs into the body

IMO this looks at the very least assisted.

Important context: the claim that I drew this conclusion based solely on the date is deliberately false. I never stated this anywhere and later added a comment in Discord during a discussion of this post. I re-approved the post after also checking the art itself and don't believe it's ai-generated. Later, I just looked at the date and was surprised.

All of moriforest1040's stuff.
They recently put out a twitter post that links to a booth page for an ai generated game they made. Art and everything.

Plus some of their art just looks.. off in places. post #11145852 looks like there's six fingers on Reimu's hands.
I might be stupid, but considering they DO use AI for stuff, it's worth a check, i think.

At the very least they may be tracing, I've always felt like their lineart is not up to par with the shading. You could also compare the finished and unfinished drawings: post #9358529 and post #8551224

I went to upload an image from yumi enf but realized they had used AI, they stated they use SD (stable diffusion) and KK (not sure what this one is), can we flag this artist as AI generated? I was not sure if this thread is where to ask

kiryupa artist #614938 first post was flagged as ai, but multiple posts have been uploaded since, tagged as ai-gen recently and not flagged. anything I'm missing or...? Also usually the creators get a notice on their page about being ai-gen, to avoid further uploads, this one hasnt

I think sinedahh's artworks are AIgen and bad edit (AI-generated), but another guy think his artworks are AI-assisted.

This is my reason:
1. See red circle asset #47752518 and asset #47752540. (https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/91306363/post/150518318)
2. Simply line art edit (https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/91306363/post/144499588)

This is his reason:
See: https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/91306363 they post WIP lineart and flat color.

Should sinedahh be definited as AI-generated, AI-assisted, or both(current wiki)?

Very general question, does anyone know what's up with the use of AI in Dragon Traveler? The first post to this site tagged with it (and the only one before I uploaded post #11182342) seems to have been deleted for being AI generated, but I can't see if it's fanart or official art.

Scrolling through their Twitter media (https://x.com/dragontravel_PR/media), a lot of their older art definitely looks like AI to me, but most of their newer stuff doesn't. I can find some people on Reddit speculating that they used AI back when the game launched, but their Steam page doesn't mention use of AI, which I believe they *should* be required to do. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4104440/Dragon_Traveler/
