Respectfully, there is no update in "even the first couple of pages". It just says the payment processor issue is being looked into, and the only one that can do anything is Evazion the site owner. And I'm not reading 60 pages to see if there was a random one-off actual tangible update anywhere in there.

No updates so far, at least in this thread. As far as we know, we're pretty much in the same position as we were three years ago.

Removing gold and platinum from existing users doesn't achieve anything.

You can always use saucenao/iqdb directly, both websites will show the source image regardless.

I'm pretty sure that if you try to upload a post that is already here, either it brings you to its page (even if it's loli/shota, you just won't see the image itself) or it will say that you're trying to upload a pixel perfect duplicate (I think this happens when the source differs).

gelbooru is so close to being good but it's not; when you download it doesn't name files properly, and there's a bunch of duplicates. Other issue is they don't update tags when they scrape from danbooru.
There's also this bug where videos play too quiet.
Honestly a kind of fun thread to read as a new person.
made a account after years of using the site and finally thinking "Hey, i should donate for all the time spent using the site for free". Sad to see i cant. But at this point after 3 years and the new, hot, 2025 censorship wave globally. I think its time to accept that i wont be able to ever.
As a new person who looked into this. The only suggestion i'd like to put forward, despite the fact it has been brought up. Is that the mods/devs/whoever should really remove the word "temporary". Lets be honest that at this point, after 3 years and the fact we are in a second wave of hostile censorship. It's feeling kind of permanent. The site either has tons of reserve funds, or just no need for donations. (well i hope so. It's a wonderful site)
Anyways. Im off to lurk. Maybe upload one or two things. I don't really need builder because i have lived off 2 tags just fine for like... idk 10 years now. Just wanted to give money to a great site. I hope you all have a great day.

Get someone to make a paypal account and handle it manually. I did it for a long time for an adult classifieds site until I found a processor.
But you do have to do it manually.

I've been checking this thread for updates for at least three years now, and nothing concrete.
They could at least release the search with three or more keywords in the meantime.
