Isn't every evening gown somehow a dress? Can't see any exception in this tag, too, even under evening_gown -dress. All fits the definition in my book of a dress. Well, except post #96593 (it's not even clear if that is a camisole or something else) and post #2047951 (leotard)

Sorry, but we do have a gown tag, so shouldn't this more properly implicate that? What precisely is the distinction between gown and long dress anyway?
