I went ahead and put it as the 1980s style as I think, after some quick evaluation, that it looks to be accurate.

I can't seem to find a tag to describe blood transfusion/donation (since I think intravenous drip is for injecting liquids into the body).

This looks more like a third-party edit than a derivative work for me, I think it's the same image with few parts redrawn.

How should I tag her outfit (or rather lack of)? She's technically naked but has a scale "bra" being part of her skin.
I was thinking about completely_nude convenient_censoring but maybe there's a better way.

I wouldn't tag convenient censoring here. since the "bra" is just part of her skin, scales + completely nude suffices

How does the solo tag apply to comics that feature only one person?
The photos in the comic don't count against the tag because the wiki explicitly states inanimate references to characters as an exception.

seems like there's not, generally looks like ears down is used for this even though it's not specified on the wiki. In my opinion it should be its own tag because it's something I would like to search myself. Is it okay if I make the tag ears_under_headwear? to keep it shorter

Solo doesn’t apply to comics like this because multiple views applies (for Yuki in this case, as she’s in both panels). That applies to most comics that aren’t 1komas.

What's the name of that thing in the bottom right corner? I know for a fact that it's an exercise tool (one you have to squeeze with your fingers as hard as possible) but I don't know the name of it.

It looks like a hand grip strengthener. there's no tag for that though and I'm unsure if this could qualify for hand grip
Since hand grip is being used for stationary vehicle components, we could call that a grip strengthener
