Is drawing a real historical person alongside a fictional character real life or real life insert? post #4155997

Based on the other work posted to the artist's Twitter, I'm inclined to believe this is an edited photo, not an illustration or 3D rendering. Would the realistic tag still apply in this case?

Right girl's hair tie is a Marill, but dunno if that should be tagged with the character tag or something like 'Marill hair ornament'.
[...] She's also wearing Pacman-shaped earrings; as with the Marill attire, character tag or something else?
Those should get character hair ornament and the relevant character tags.

How does one tag something like this? post #4157029
I'm talking about the faces in the speech bubble...is there any specific tag for that? I see it a lot when a character's face is obscured (by the angle of the shot in this case) or when an artist wants to indicate an expression coming from off-screen.

I'd say yes, especially if a single one is more traditional.

I'd argue it depends on if we have an exact likeness of the person in question available to us. If we know exactly what they looked like and it matches up real life if the best we have is paintings real life insert.

How do I tag those things on the arms? detached_sleeves doesn't go up to shoulders so..
What about that green frilly cloth part that is attached to the belt?

I would safely discard that clause in the wiki, it looks like it's been there since 2007 and I doubt anyone cares what height the sleeves reach, if there's nothing suggesting it's a shrug (clothing).

Use chibi inset.

They're not even detached, it's just an oddly shaped top.
Anyway, should Alternate Hair Color be applied retroactively after the reveal of the official colors?

To be clear, official alternate costume should be tagged instead of alternate costume, alternate hairstyle etc.? Not in addition to? The wiki page for the former does not say anything about the latter, and the wiki page for the latter is ambiguous as to whether it should be in addition to or in place of the former.
