Decided to kill some time today and clean up some contradicting tags (translation_request + translated, solo + Xgirls/Xboys, etc...) and noticed that some posts seem to be tag locked. Is there anyway around this or is it some higher user level only privilege?
A lot of them for me, like at least the first 5 posts with the translation_request and translated tags, what's strange is I can add tags, but not remove them.

You're running into implications. For example, the check_translation tag implies translation_request, so it is impossible to remove translation_request from a post without also removing check_translation (if the post has check_translation to begin with).
