What if one sidelock is long and the other isn't? One look at these posts and they just look like asymmetrical sidelocks.

if it's multiple Sidelocks, then I guess you wouldn't add the 'single' Sidelock tag. but I honestly Im starting to understand why having this implied would be an issue so I'm changing my vote

It seems like people are combining (person with only one sidelock, which happens to be unusually long) with (person with two sidelocks, only one of which is unusually long). Personally I would call one long single sidelock and the other single long sidelock, but that could easily cause confusion, probably especially for non-native English speakers.
