Another gacha PC debacle. Thankfully this game seems uninterested in costume alts (at the moment), so I might as well just see what this does.

Normally, I prefer "male x and female x" for these things, but this character is explicitly referred to with primarily male pronouns and what few shots we do get of them imply the character is intended to be male by default, so I am operating under the assumption this would be the preferred way the BUR should go.

So, going off The Gacha Protag List™, you're expecting this to be a Producer/Commander (Azur Lane)/Sensei/Trainer-type situation?

Yep. That's exactly it. I hate this set-up, but if that's what works, it's what works. And if even the game itself consistently refers to the character as a dude, I'm going to treat that as the intended default assumption which I will ignore as a player and viewer, but as a Danbooru uploader and editor I have to keep it all in mind for the sake of keeping tags straight.
