These are already being tagged with the topic tag, so should it imply it?

BUR #61099 has been approved by @evazion.
mass update huge_ass_lying_on_couch_pose_(meme) ai-generated_art_(topic) -> -ai-generated_art_(topic)
Or if we don't want it.
Just for reference, almost all chronopattern dress posts are tagged with ai-generated art (topic). 291 total, only a handful under chronopattern_dress -ai-generated_art_(topic).
I really don't see the point of tagging ai-generated art (topic) on all these redraw memes that spawn from ai images. Most artists participating don't care about that origin (if they even know it) and just treat it as another redraw challenge. Putting the tag on all those memes just makes it harder to find images that are actually about, well, the topic of ai-generated art, like post #11499903.
Yeah, we've been discussing moving the memes out of ai-generated art (topic) off and on for a while now. This BUR would be befitting the current status quo, but I don't like it.
I think what to do with these memes needs further discussion and a proper solution, as this meme is only the latest of these memes.
I'd be down for a split. The OG tag name is fine for the latter, but the former needs something specific so that we can separate the two needs while both remain searchable/blacklistable.
Maybe ai-generated art redraw?

Oh damn, I forgot about ai art parody. Why was that BUR never approved anyway?

Guess I'll just submit this again since it died without reason.
u can't prove every meme post IS about ai-generated art
but u also can't prove every meme post IS NOT about ai-generated art
if the implications are removed then ai-generated art (topic) needs to be manually removed from mistagged posts instead of with an update BUR
What is the difference between AI-generated art (topic) and AI art parody? Parodies of AI art is exactly what AI-generated art (topic) was supposed to be to begin with. It was never supposed to be random redraw memes that happen to be based on photos that turned out to be AI, unbeknownst to most people drawing the meme.

Basically, the attempts at creating AI art parody are an attempt to split the two. The random redraw memes end up polluting attempts to find actual posts of people poking fun at or trying to say something profound, which is what people actually want to see in AI-generated art (topic).
But because the redraw memes are based on AI, which many people want nothing to do with, you have to have a tag for that sort of thing, which is what AI art parody is intended to resolve.

This tag idea seems really broad, and maybe better suited for a pool. Additionally, I think there might be enough posts about AI in general that it could be worth including anything related to current real-world AI technology, though I'm not sure what you'd call it, since AI_(topic) might be too vague.
There's very few other *_(topic) tags, none of them are particular popular, and I think they're also not super useful tags.
Meta references to AI stuff, e.g. post #11499903, is lumped in under that as well. It's not really a parody of AI art nor a redraw of something AI-generated.
