Counter evidence: Claims that their old account got hacked, so maybe just reposting their backlog and not just pumping out at this speed. Brush work seems legit. Comments here show that they use photo references, potentially for all of their works, which could be the reason for the clean look instead of ai, but what's stopping them from using ai image as a reference. At which point I'm not sure where it falls under.

So, could be an experienced artist just posting their backlog. Could be ai generated or assisted in some way. These two especially post #11489839 post #11489617 get my ai senses tingling.

I think this could be AI.

I'm a little confused by her shirt, off-shoulder with spaghetti straps isn't unheard of, but it's strange for something so tight-fitting. Or is it a camisole with detached sleeves?

Is post #11495194 AI? I didn't think so when I uploaded it, as none of the artist's other posts are tagged as AI (including ones which were posted to Twitter around the same time), and their bio seems to imply an anti-AI stance. However, after giving it a second look, something about it looks off to me. I can't really describe why, it just does.

No, nothing suggesting AI in the post you linked and they've had this art style since well before AI.

If you look at their media, there's a drastic shift in style in quality in the span of a single month late 2025. Works in their older style do not have these issues.

The "Briar" posts that were uploaded recently make it extremely obvious. It's common for AI to do only the face when the prompt includes fantasy colored skin.

Earlier posts have more obvious AI errors, but images still have nonsensical edges and clearly repaired bits.

They have multiple time-lapse videos (and also a 1x speed video). Their art style looks similar to some popular AI styles but I found no clear signs of AI use in any of their works.

I think we should have solid evidence for AI use if we're gonna tag something as AI-generated and delete it. Because such evidence was not given I undeleted the posts and removed the tag.

I will happily flag the posts myself if I see something that convinces me that they are AI-generated.

You're making it sound like I did a vandalism but the chartag was wrongly added by the uploaders, the posts were not claimed to be Briar by the artist, they are of the commissioner's OC. This is relevant because "Briar" being off-model was cited as evidence of AI use!

Some weirdness going on with the plaid patterns on the skirt and tied jacket. Also, the way the shoelaces are done up on both shoes where you can see them are a mess. Bocchi's guitar is also always depicted with four knobs, but it only has two here. The pickups and knobs on Yui's guitar are also usually depicted as silver (though this one might come down to lighting)

Some of the pipes in the background lose continuity when they pass behind the chair or the girl. Also, just some weird, hard to explain details on the pipes (random blue tape in the bottom left?). The guitar isn't quite right either. Usually it is depicted with a design running up the fretboard. Plaid pattern on the hair ribbons is a mess. The hair ornament made of blue balls doesn't really match how it should look in both material and overall shape. Also, she's usually depicted with white spots/dots in her hair but there aren't any here.

Bocchi's right leg melting into her amp. Guitar is missing two knobs and the knobs that are there are the wrong color. The pick guard is also the wrong color (is white; should be black). The edges are also white, but should be gold. Right hand is a little suspect, but this might be nothing. The ceiling has some weird artifacting and lack of symmetry, though.

I got suspicious that AI is being used by this person in some capacity after checking their Twitter.

Note the right arm hanging down behind the cooler, but the right hand is folded on the stomach. Also, the cooler's handle and latch situation seems confused. Over on the left, we have the arm of the chair disappearing into a plate of food and a fairly impossible to discern jumble of table and chair legs overlapping and linking up like an M.C. Escher piece.

I can accept it if I'm just crazy, but I figured I could at least bring it up here. Get a second (non-crazy) opinion.
