Incredibly vague tag name that is hard to find, most people I know call it a "karate chop" which seems like it'd be a useful alias at the very least.

If it's vague then why are we keeping the vague tag instead of doing the opposite alias?

Because I wanted to see what people thought with a guaranteed safe BUR.
If we agree chop is a garbage name let's replace it as above.
A lot of the tag consists of this humorous gesture, and tagging that karate chop feels wrong to me.

The alternatives are "knifehand strike" (what Wikipedia calls it) and "knife edge chop" (what it's called in pro-wrestling), neither of which are as intuitive as karate chop.
