Effectively the same thing. Logically we should have ribbon-trimmed dress -> ribbon-trimmed clothes -> ribbon trim, but that's pointless when all ribbon trim posts are clothes. Theoretically you could have a ribbon-trimmed blanket or curtain or something, but I haven't seen it.
We don't have lace-trimmed clothes or fur-trimmed clothes either, just lace trim and fur trim.
