This might be controversial, but while I respect the decision 12 years ago to alias Ryoma's name this way, it's also just not how his name is officially romanized. I actually don't think I've seen a single instance of official merchandise or media romanizing his name as Ryooma at all... I think that the other way around makes far more sense. Ryoga is a similar story with that just not being the official romanization.
