Plasma_Pistol vs. ray_gun

rename plasma_pistol -> plasma_pistol_(warhammer_40k)

In this site, it often refers to a weapon in Warhammer 40k.

There's a halo plasma pistol: plasma_pistol halo_(series) https://www.halopedia.org/Plasma_pistol
A fallout plasma pistol: plasma_pistol fallout https://fallout.wiki/wiki/Overview:Plasma_Weapon#Plasma_Pistols
And apparently this weapon Samus has that's getting tagged as a plasma pistol has its own name: plasma_pistol metroid https://www.metroidwiki.org/wiki/Paralyzer (correction: it already has a tag: paralyzer)

Do we want to keep the tag as-is for all weapons referred to as "plasma pistols", or create plasma_pistol_(halo), plasma_pistol_(fallout) etc. as well?

No, after this consideration I think it's better to be utility aliased into a more general term. Other users can better create plasma_pistol_(specific_copyright) instead.

Perhaps you meant to alias to energy gun? Ray gun is specifically those looking like the weapons from old sci-fi, they should have more a toy-like appearance.

Would it be okay to keep plasma pistol and have it imply energy gun? Since similarly there's a plasma rifle tag that implies energy gun, with various series like Doom, Halo, and Fallout having weapons named plasma rifle. (I had to write a wiki real quick to be able to submit this BUR)
