rename single_mechanical_eye -> mechanical_monoeye

BUR #56398 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create alias mechanical_eye -> single_mechanical_eye
create implication single_mechanical_eye -> mechanical_eyes
mass update mechanical_eyes (rebecca_(cyberpunk) or banyue_(zenless_zone_zero)) -> -single_mechanical_eye

This was also suggested in the other topic. Will have to be done after the other BURs.

I'm not too sure about this, because I'd wager most of our results are of a single mechanical eye... But then again, Cyberpunk 2077 exists, so it might not actually be true anymore.

BUR #56642 has been rejected.

mass update one-eyed mecha -> mechanical_cyclops_eye

Some population, I cleaned up the old results and only a few posts remain.

This BUR will need a check through the results before approving to remove potential characters with one eye. Not sure if mechanical cyclops eye should be mutually exclusive with one-eye, or it should imply it, but for now I will ignore it.

remove implication glass_eye -> artificial_eye
create alias artificial_eye -> mechanical_eyes
remove alias artificial_eye -> mechanical_eyes
create alias artificial_mechanical_eyes -> mechanical_eyes

I just realized I forgot about artificial eye in the process. This tag is indistinguishable from mechanical eyes.

We already have smaller tags such as glass eye, if we want to find artificial non-mechanical eyes we need a different tag for it. Not sure what it could be called.

As for this, I am wondering if we need to distinguish one-eyed mechas from people/characters with single mechanical eyes, otherwise mechanical cyclops eye will be completely overwhelmed by mecha. Maybe we can make one-eyed mecha? It's a very common trope anyway. one-eyed mecha is prone to mixing up pilots with eyepatches, like some depictions of Souryuu Asuka Langley.

The current definition for use of artificial eye includes both mechanical and non-mechanical artificial eyes, so couldn't folding that tag into mechanical eyes potentially cause a bunch of images featuring non-mechanical artificial eyes to be improperly tagged as mechanical eyes? Not that these tags don't have rampant misuse as is, with regards to forsaking the rule of "tag based on what you see, not what you know".

Could there be merit in keeping artificial eye as a master tag of sorts, and having mechanical eyes imply artificial eye?

"Prosthetic eye"? We have many tags for prostheses already, artificial eye links to prosthesis, and glass eye could probably even be folded into the new tag for consistency's sake. I suppose that you could sometimes call a mechanical eye a prosthetic eye as well, but that's case by case. I also recognize that this would also rule out eyes that are 1) artificial, 2) non-mechanical, and 3) not used as prostheses, but I feel that in such specific cases there are probably going to be other tags that suit the subject in question.

The problem is that mechanical eyes is the vast majority. We'd just end up with artificial eye being 99.99% mechanical eyes. At that point, the umbrella tag is useless. Also, tags can't imply other tags if they make up more than 95% of their posts.

Okay fair point. So then, would it just be a case of letting the 5% have their newly-incorrect tags be fixed over time, in the interest of having the 95% be tagged more astutely and removing a functionally-redundant tag?

I added the alias create alias artificial_mechanical_eyes -> mechanical_eyes so that people searching for "artificial" still see this tag, but I think it would make sense to have another tag that can group "analog" artificial eyes, such as glass eyes or wooden eyes (if we have any).
