For a while now, I've been wondering how to tag brown skin on characters such as reptile people, some monster people, aliens, humanoid Pokémon, and so on. We have tags for every color except brown_skin, which is deprecated as it would constantly be confused for dark_skin. However, this leaves us without a tag for stuff like post #11261552, post #6325034 (NSFW), post #8702206 (NSFW), and so on.
Apologies for the lack of good/tasteful examples. It's difficult to find examples for a tag that doesn't exist, as I can't search for it. Who would've thought?
We need a tag for it, but I'm truly at a loss as for what to use, as anything with "brown" (or a synonym for brown) in the name is just begging to be confused for dark_skin. There's darkened_skin, but that could only be used for cases of alternate_skin_color, and these kinds of posts are not what the users who search that tag are looking for. We could say "just use brown_scales," but that would only apply to some of the reptile people posts, and in any case, color_scales tags are a poor replacement for color_skin tags on humanoid posts for a number of other reasons.
I'd love some suggestions, because I really do have nothing to go on here.
