That second one shouldn't be tagged techwear to begin with, and techwear influence is so currently entrenched in streetwear as a whole lately that trying to separate the two entirely would be counterproductive. Especially given that streetwear is already a broad catch-all tag.

That's kind of true for all fashion trends though. There's not a super clear line between emo fashion vs punk and goth fashion for example but I doubt anyone would want to merge them.

I rejected the BUR but this isn't a great argument given those aren't styles of each other. This is closer to something like fairy kei being a style of yume kawaii.
I still disagree with the replies, as people already tag techwear stuff as just streetwear from what I could see while gardening and the tag isn't used for any one streetwear style, but I can live with them being separate.
